Reflecting the Exhibition

Overall I am happy with how the event turned out. I'm proud of what we accomplished in just three weeks as a group, and although there was more we could have done in terms of promotion maybe. Even though, I felt like the work I produced for the exhibition wasn't the most successful, still think the work we put behind it, and effort put in was well worth it.

Following the exhibition we also gave a tour to someone from a local animation company, Cloth Cat. It was slightly scary trying to talk about the work in a professional setting but it was a good learning point.

The Exhibition

I think the exhibition itself was a success, we had a really good turn out and the whole team seemed to come together as Promotion were doing live videos, Events sorted out food and drinks, and it seemed like a really good night.

The after party was also good fun as it was down the street at Tiny Rebel, where there was a Drink and Draw, as well as Live Music.

Preparing For Exhibition

In preparation for the exhibition as well as branding I also went with some other groups like Location and Curation, this gave me a better understanding of what was going on with the whole thing instead of being to focused on just one task. It was nice to check out places like Big Moose Coffee, and the Welsh Centre, but we decided on Castle Emporium. As it had a spacious exhibition space so everyone's work could be featured and would also be suitable for an opening party.

As well as Location, I also gave the Curation team a hand setting up the Castle Emporium.



After all our hard work it was finally ready!
